Calendar

my calendar has lost all past information from as little as 3 months ago. I REALLY need this info and this is the only calendar that I've used for years now. Do I really need to go back to using a hard copy calendar or a google calendar just to keep a history?

iPad 2, iOS 5, it happens on my new iphone 3S too

Hello NewApple2011,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. I know it's important to be able to keep track of upcoming events, so I'll be happy to provide you with some resources to help with your calendar.

If you are using iCloud to sync your calendar and are only experiencing this issue with your iOS devices, then we can check a few settings.

To start, on each device open Settings > iCloud, and ensure that you still have syncing enabled for your calendar.

Then on your devices go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and under the Calendars heading, change the Sync option to a time that works for you.

If after this, you are not seeing your events, then log into iCloud on a computer and see if your calendar events are still showing up. If you do not see your events listed here, then they may have been deleted at some point. Check out this article for help with deleted events:

If you accidentally deleted your calendars, reminders, or contacts from iCloud

Have a great day, cheers!
